Who we are

Claude Gmail MCP ("the application") is a private, self-hosted tool operated by Paul De Bastos (Growing Apex). Contact: growingapex@gmail.com.

What the application does

The application lets its operator access his own Gmail mailbox from a local assistant client running on his own computer. It is not offered as a service to third parties.

Data we access

With the account holder's explicit consent, the application requests the following Google API scopes:

• gmail.modify — read, compose, send and modify messages and labels in the authorising account's mailbox.
• gmail.settings.basic — read and update basic mail settings such as filters, signatures and vacation responses.

How data is handled

• Message content is retrieved on demand and processed locally on the operator's computer. It is not copied to any server controlled by us.
• OAuth credentials (access and refresh tokens) are stored only in a local file on that computer.
• We do not sell, rent or transfer Google user data to any third party.
• We do not use Google user data for advertising, profiling or to train generalised artificial-intelligence or machine-learning models.
• No analytics, tracking or logging of message content is performed by this website.

Limited Use

The application's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.

Retention and deletion

No mailbox data is retained beyond the duration of a session. Stored OAuth tokens are deleted when the local credentials file is removed.

Withdrawing access

Access can be revoked at any time from the Google Account permissions page. Revocation takes effect immediately.

Changes

Any change to this policy will be published on this page with an updated date.
